Modern Slavery Statement

CM New Tech Ltd – Anti – Slavery Policy

CM New Tech Ltd recognises the potential risk of Human rights violations taking place within both UK and internationally based suppliers of goods or services that it procures.

It is therefore committed to meeting the responsibility it has, to use all viable influence on its supply chains to eradicate these risks.

In keeping with this commitment, CM New Tech incorporates conditions within its Supplier approval process which requires all supply partners to adhere to international convention on human rights. Failure to agree such terms will prevent those organisations from entering into a supply relationship with CM New Tech.  Any approved supplier subsequently found to be operating in a manner contravening human rights, shall immediately be excluded from the approved supply chain.

The supplier approval process is also designed as a means of further promoting awareness of the issues and promoting opportunities to engage with suppliers further down the chain.

All staff engaged in the procurement of products or services, shall be trained in Supplier Approval policy and awareness of the risks within varying sectors; in order that diligence in procurement decision making can be achieved.

Procurement staff shall maintain an awareness of guidance, risks and changing policy through monitoring of information released by the Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioners Office. http://www.antislaverycommissioner.co.uk/

CM New Tech Ltd are committed to the highest levels of fairness and equality in the employment of its own staff. The company therefore encourages all employees to consider the implications of Modern Slavery in the choices of products or services they choose to use in their daily lives.

Staff with any concerns regarding a current supplier to the business, should make these known to the Purchasing Director.
